3075662 - Add Images In Portal Interactions In Tickets

Symptom

You cannot add images into the portal interaction.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Go to the Tickets view.
  3. Open ticket ABC (ABC represents the ticket ID).
  4. Go to the Timeline facet.
  5. Create new portal interaction.
  6. You cannot add images into the interaction.

Cause

  • Feature is not enabled in Ticket Configuration.
  • Rich text editor is not enabled for Portal interactions.

Resolution

To enable the feature:

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the Service and Social view.
  3. Open the Ticket Configuration hyperlink.
  4. Enable the option "Enable inline images for ticket description, work description, portal messages and internal memo".
