3076095 - EC: Tax declaration portlet allows users to select 'Previous Employment Tax Details' even they are hired at the start of the financial year

• When the Employee is hired in mid- financial year then all  Investment type should be available for employees to declare. This is in sync with backed ERP Infotype 0580.
  
• When the employee is hired in the start of financial year then all Investment type under 'Previous employment Tax Details' should not be available in EC.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - India Tax Declaration

1. Add new employee with hire date on or before 1st April, 2021
2. Go to Income Tax Declaration portlet
3. Add proposal
4. Declaration type = Previous Employment Tax Details
5. Notice it list all investment type in the drop down

ERP System

• This is a known limitation and Product Management team is reviewing to enhance this feature in future releases. As of now there is no fixed date/version on when the feature will be enhanced
  

• Kindly use business rule as workaround to restrict employees that are hired at the start of the financial year to select the investment type.
• The given business rule triggers error for employee that has hire date on or before 04/30/(current year) and select investment type that is not part of the if condition
• The rule is added as a "Validate" rule in Configure object definition > Income Tax Declaration object
