3076986 - Pimon returns 500 Internal Server Error

Symptom

  • You are using Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) and have recently performed an SP/SPS update
  • When trying to access the PI Configuration and Monitoring Home page (http://<server>:<port>/pimon) you get the below error:
    500 Internal Server Error
    Error: Application error occurred during the request processing.
  • Checking the defaultTraces you can see the below error:
    Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [XINwaRedirect.jsp] in [pimon] web application.
    [EXCEPTION]
    com.sap.engine.session.runtime.LoginSessionExpiredException: Trying to get/set security policy domains of expired login session is not allowed.
