3078021 - Statistical flag in pricing schema for freight isn't reflecting in purchasing conditions

Symptom

 A custom Freight condition type has been created and added it to a pricing procedure via Configuration Activity Set Calculation Schema - Purchasing ID 101095.

The statistical flag for the new custom Freight condition type in the calculation schema is not flagged because the value is expected to be add to the net price, but when creating a purchasing document and adding the condition type, the statistical flag is automatically flagged and the value isn't add to the net price.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud all versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new freight condition in the Configuration Activity Set Pricing Condition Types - Purchasing - 101094
  2. Add this condition type to a pricing schema in the Configuration Activity Set Calculation Schema - Purchasing ID 101095 and DON'T flag the statistical
  3. Create a Purchase Order and under conditions tab add the freight value
  4. The the new condition is automatically set as statistical and the value isn't added to the net value

Cause

Standard system behavior.

Any condition that is marked as accrual, the statistical flag will be automatically set in the purchasing document conditions.

Resolution

If the condition amount is expected to be added into the net price, another condition type that is not freight and not marked for accruals should be used, for example Discount or Sucharges.
