3078070 - Booked Interview Cancellation triggers - Recruiting Management

When a candidate Rejects an interview any of the triggers "Booked Interview Cancellation" is triggered to neither the Interviewers nor the Organizers.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Create an Interview for a Candidate;
2. As candidate you will have two options "Accept" and "Reject". Reject the interview right away;
3. Notice that the emails "Booked Interview Cancellation to Organizers" and "Booked Interview Cancellation to Interviewers" is not triggered.

This is by design of the triggers and what means a Booked interview.

When an interview is sent to a candidate using Interview Scheduling, the Interview is not yet considered as Booked, it is just sent. This happens when then candidate accepts the interview, which then will turn into a Booked interview.

Now, when the candidate accepts the interview, and then cancel, this means that a Booked Interview is being cancelled, and then the triggers "Booked Interview Cancellation" will act and send the emails.

The specific trigger for the first action, of rejecting the interview that has not yet been accepted, is handled on the trigger "Interview Cancellation to Organizers". This is explained when looking at the triggers definition on the Setting Up and Maintaining SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting
