SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3078569 - Generic Date/Timestamp Delta CDS: Element xxx is not a valid delta element

Symptom

You create a generic CDS using the following field type as delta criterion:

  • UTC timestamp
  • date field (ABAP type DATS)

Validation doesn't return any error. 

But when activating the CDS, the error below occurs:

Element xxx is not a valid delta element [Analytics]  -- xxx is the field which's used as the delta field
