3078746 - RPRAPA00 and business partners (employee role, vendor role)

Symptom

In an ECC system for each employee a business partner with employee role is created by using report HRALXSYNC. Vendors are created/updated using report RPRAPA00 (transaction PRAA). Following is observed:

  • existing business partners with role BUP003 (employee) shall be reused for the vendors. The vendor role shall be added instead of creating a new business partner. This does not happen
  • or the other way around, the business partners with role BUP003 are being updated although this is not wanted.
