3079199 - Company (generic Object) still appears in Careers Search even though corresponding legal entity is inActive in Manage Data

Symptom

When using the Careers Search functionality you see values for Company, that are linked to Inactive Legal Entities within Manage Data.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-requisite:

Company (generic object) must be ticked to appear within Internal and External Career Search Settings in Admin Center

Go to Careers
Select Company
You will see all values for Legal Entities including those set as inactive in Legal Entity within Manage Data

Cause

This is currently an expected behaviour when the option within Manage Recruiting settings is Enabled/Ticked:
Allow users to select only those instances that are active as of the date in the Job Start Date field in the Job Requisition and Offer Detail pages

Resolution

If you do not wish for inactive Companies to appear in the search filter options for Company please Disable/Untick the option within Manage Recruiting Settings:
Allow users to select only those instances that are active as of the date in the Job Start Date field in the Job Requisition and Offer Detail pages
