Symptom

The bullet point and numbering formatting from a formatted text field is lost/ not copied over to E-Mails or Summaries.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Visits work centre view
  2. Open a visit
  3. Edit a formatted text field by adding bullet points or numbering
  4. Save the visit
  5. Create a summary or an E-Mail 
  6. Result: the field text content is transferred, but the formatting is lost: there are no bullet points and there is no numbering.

Cause

Bullet points and numbering are supported in higher ALD versions of the Adobe LifeCycle Designer.

Resolution

Please check what ALD version you currently have in your Adobe LifeCycle Designer to edit the document and in form properties choose target version 11 or higher.
