3079252 - Blank Warning Message on creating a Time Account Payout

Symptom

  • When trying to create a Time Account payout, a Blank Error message comes up as per the snapshot below.
  • No business rules are causing this.

            

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Time Management - Administer Time
  2. Click on “Create” in the Accounts Payout Tab
  3. Pop up would show up along with blank warning message

Cause

  • This message is the warning that valuation for the payout is done in payroll. For this customer, the warning text was overridden in "Manage Languages" for en_GB. You can download the CSV in that company and check for key: TIMEANDLABOR_PAYOUT_VALUATION_DONE_IN_PAYROLL,""
  • The empty quotes behind the key are the text and this is blank which is the reason for this Blank Message

Resolution

Provide a valid text warning message or remove this key from the language file.
