3079341 - You are not Able to add KUT Fields in a Newly Created Tab in the Product Data Work Center

In the work center Product Data, you create an additional tab page in the Material sub view using the Adaptation Mode. You want to create KUT fields in this tab.

SAP Business Bydesign

1.Go to the Product Data work center
2.Go to the Materials subview
3.Find the respective Material ID
4.Click on Edit
5.Click on View All
6.Go to the Key User Settings in the upper right corner
7.Start Adaptation Mode
8.In the Adaptation Tab on the right select and open Tabs
9.Click on + and select Tab
10.Create a new Test Tab
11.Click on OK
12.Select the new created Tab and in the Adaptation go one step back and select Unnamed Group
13.Result: No data

 This is the expected system behaviour

The content in the newly added tab is empty. Currently, it is technically not possible to add KUT fields inside an empty Section Group.
