3079807 - LMS: Item completion by passing one content object.

We wish to have an item with multiple PDF's in multiple languages. We want the ability for end User's to pass one PDF/content object and get credit for the whole item.

This is how to correctly setup the item:

1. Create the item.
2. Add your content objects and ensure they are set to AICC.
3. Enable the AICC wrapper on these content objects. (This is how the PDF will get marked as complete. Please note that if you use browser version, “Add to History on Pass” will not work so this solution would not work for multiple content objects of browser type)
   
4. Tick “Add to History on Pass” for each content object, this setting means that as soon as an end User completes a content object, it will create a history record for that item. Thus, the User has completed the item.
5. Make sure to untick “Add to History on Completion of All Content”, This configuration is needed only on items when you want the User to complete all content objects.

PLEASE NOTE:

Mark as complete on Launch does not work with AICC type as this setting does not work with communicating content. Once you enable AICC wrapper is it now considered as a communicating content by the system. If you are changing a content object from browser type to AICC. Please ensure you disable “Complete Content on Launch” tick box on the Online Content Settings page before you make the change as it can cause completion issues.

If you are experiencing completion issues with this setup, please set the AICC content object back to browser and see if the “Complete Content on Launch” is ticked. Untick it, save, change it back to AICC type and save. The solution should work then.
