3080750 - UoM Not determined automatically When Adding Product From Product List In a Lead

You Observe that the Unit of Measure or UoM is not determind automatically when you are adding a Product from Product List in a new Lead

 SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to New Business Work center.
2. Go to Lew Lead from the common tasks.
3. Add the Account.
4. Add the product.
5. The UOM of the product is not determined automatically.
6. You expect it to be determined automatically.

The Unit Of Measure or UOM of the Product in the sales documents such as Lead, Sales Quote, Sales Order etc is determined based on the Sales Organization and Distribution Channel. The UOM is derived from the field Sales UOM maintained in the Sales tab of the Product master data which is maintained in combination of Sales Organization and Distribution Channel.

Please maintain the Sales Unit in the Sales Document and Sales Organization is will be determined automatically based on Sales Unit. Now if you add the Product in the Sales document, the UOM will be automatically determined.
