3080753 - How To Cancel Remaining Quantity In a Pick Task ?

You want to know how to cancel the remaining quantity in In Process pick task that is not needed for the delivery.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Workcenter.
2. Go to Task Control view.
3. Show All Tasks by Selection via drop-down and search relevant Task ID with status In Process.
4. Click on Confirm, here you can see that partial quantity for the product exists.

Since for the product, remaining quantities yet to be processed therefore task is with status In Process and not with status Finished.

To cancel remaining or partial quantity in a relevant pick task, follow below steps:-

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Workcenter.
2. Go to Task Control view.
3. Show All Tasks by Selection via drop-down and search the relevant Task ID with status In Process.
4. Select required row and enter quantity as Zero and add Deviation reason via drop-down.
5. Perform Save, the task will be with status Finished.
6. Once it is done then go to the Outbound Logistics workcenter again.
7. Choose Monitoring view and open Work view.
8. Here Notification task would be generated against the relevant Pick Task ID.
9. Now select it and choose to Accept Deviation.
10. Once it is done, check the respective warehouse request and order, here fulfilled quantity would be updated.
11. Go back to the respective Outbound Delivery Request and here Reject the remaining quantity via option Reject for the line item, if you do not want to process it further.
12. At last, go to respective Sales Order, select required line item, under Details section change the Delivery Rule from :Multiple Deliveries to Single Delivery Full Quantity.
13. Then perform Save.
14. Now if check the customer demand, the status of the line item must be Finished and fulfilled quantity as delivered.
