3082295 - Incorrect results may be retrieved from a table with functional index - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A table has a function-based index.
  • Rows are inserted into the table or updated from JDBC applications with DYNAMIC_PREPARE connection property = true.
  • When you retrieve rows from the table, you may be able to find incorrect values (a blank) in columns which are the same as the expression of the function-based index.
