3082967 - DTP fails - ST22 ABAP short dump; signal 11 and SYSTEM_CORE_DUMP - SAP ASE for Business Warehouse

On SAP BW systems on SAP ASE database, DTPs processing more than 30 data packages fail with signal 11, SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPS 
These jobs are handling queries with large result sets  

SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPS are received on an SAP BW system while processing  queries with large result sets  - the corresponding C-stacks indicate failure in ODBC driver functions. The offending query returns 3+million row result set - this query works fine in isql.
