3083137 - Error "Function locked, software update running in parallel" in VF01 when creating a billing document - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The following error occurs when creating an invoice with reference to a delivery note via VF01.

• Function locked, software update running in parallel

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The error is caused because of the application job running in parallel which blocks the same delivery note.

In Schedule Billing Creation app, to prevent application jobs from being blocked, it's needed to adjust all the application jobs accordingly to ensure they run during midnight or off-work time.
