3083815 - A query with large IN list cannot be killed under TF 132 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A new feature to eliminate duplicate values from an IN List under trace flag 132 was added to:
    • SAP ASE 16.0 SP03 PL07
    • SAP ASE 16.0 SP04 
  • With this trace flag in place, queries select optimal plans.  Conversely, without this trace flag some queries have poor performance.
  • However, a spid that is running a query with large IN list cannot be killed under TF 132.
