3083953 - Password Policy is not applied as desired for application with IAS authentication

This KBA is talking about the scenario of applications that use Identity Authentication for authentication. 

• When you access to an application with for example "Standard" password policy, "Password history" requirement is NOT included, hence the requirement of "whether a password history is retained, and how many passwords from the history are retained" will NOT be considered. 
• But you are still getting error message "This password already existed in your password history record. Please choose other password."
