3084223 - RepServer failed to start after upgrade to AIX 7.2 TL 5 - SRS

Symptom

  • RepServer is down.
  • After upgrading to AIX 7.2, RepServer crashes with a stack trace:

  • SRS errorlog reports:

    INTERNAL ERROR #12024 DSI(nnn SID_SIDsite2.DBNAME) - eneric/exc/exchand.c(426)
    Internal error. Runnaway recursion raising exceptions.
    FATAL ERROR #12022 DSI(nnn SID_SIDsite2.DBNAME) - eneric/exc/exchand.c(134)
    Internal error. Unable to free a resource of type '23' which was allocated at 'eneric/useful/sync.c(2682)
    FATAL ERROR #12022 DIST    (nnn SID_SIDsite1_R2.DBNAME) - eneric/exc/exchand.c(134)
    Internal error. Unable to free a resource of type '23' which was allocated at 'eneric/useful/sync.c(2682)'.
