3084391 - [Onboarding] Issue in dashboard Search box

In Onboarding dashboard, candidate does not appear when we search name in search box, however we can see and access the candidate profile when we scroll down the page to the respective candidate.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

• Open Onboarding Dashboard (New)
• Using the dashboard search bar, search for any onboardee
• It shows 'No data'
• Scroll down the list in dashboard, you will find and be able to access the onboardee

The root cause found out to be provisioning/admin features like Disable Universal Person Auto-Complete Search and Hide External Users from search results on which the people search API used by dashboard depends. So enabling/disabling these features can affect the search functionality.

As initial steps, please check for the below:

• Disable Hide External Users from search results from Company System and Logo Settings
• Disable Universal Person Auto-Complete Search from Provisioning

However, a permanent fix for this issue is being addressed by the Engineering and is expected by the next release. Currently, this is system behavior.
