3084391 - Issue in dashboard Search box - Onboarding

Symptom

In the Onboarding Dashboard, searching for a candidate by name in the search box does not return any results. However, the candidate record is visible and accessible when manually scrolling through the candidate list and selecting the respective profile.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Onboarding Dashboard (New)
  2. Using the dashboard search bar, search for any onboardee
  3. It shows 'No data'
  4. Scroll down the list in dashboard, you will find and be able to access the onboardee

Cause

The issue is caused by the provisioning/admin feature flags Disable Universal Person Auto-Complete Search and Hide External Users from Search Results, which impact the People Search API utilized by the Onboarding Dashboard search functionality. Changes to the enablement status of these features can affect candidate search results, causing candidates to be excluded from search results even though their profiles remain available and accessible within the dashboard.

Resolution

As an initial step, please verify the following settings:

  • Disable "Hide External Users from Search Results" under Company System and Logo Settings.
  • Disable "Universal Person Auto-Complete Search" under Provisioning.

Please note that changes to these settings require assistance from your Implementation Partner. If you are unable to coordinate this change through your Implementation Partner, please provide your approval for Product Support to make the necessary updates on your behalf. Once approval is received, we can proceed with the requested changes.
