When trying to download a migration object template in Fiori app Migrate Your Data - Migration Cockpit, one of the following warning messages is displayed.
Custom fields exist for the migration objects below. You have to update the migration objects with these custom fields. You can do this on the "Migration Object" screen by using the "Check for Custom Fields" button.
Or
The selected migration objects need to be updated. This means that the templates for these migration objects cannot be downloaded.
The following migration objects must be updated with content from SAP. You can do this on the "Migration Object" screen by choosing "Update".

Cause
Custom fields/new contents exist for the listed migration objects in the warning message. But the objects are not updated with these custom fields or new content.
Resolution
To update the migration object with these custom fields, click on the migration object name. In the new screen, click on the button "Check for custom fields". Once this is done, you will be able to download the migration template file.
To update the content of migration objects, click on the "Update" button on the "Migration Object" screen and then download the migration template file.
