It's not possible to type the recognition key in the app "Revenue Recognition (Event-Based) (2)-Projects".
However, it's possible in the deprecated app "Revenue Recognition (Event-Based) -Projects".

In CE2105, EBRR was introduced more strict rule for RA key interchangeability for CPM project's keys.

Currently in our apps, it is considered RA Key as interchangeable only if

• RA key is assigned to same assignment rule OR
• The RA key is from different assignment rule , but this rule has same set of GL accounts/usage. These checks were introduce to be prevent inconsistency during (re)posting revenue on different GL account(s).

Currently app "F2129    Revenue Recognition (Event-Based) – Projects" has ability ("bug") to change to any RA Key (also which is not listed in Value help) only in case that WBS element has NO posting yet.

Based on feedback, EBRR is planning to introduce new check for app "F4767    Revenue Recognition (Event-Based) (2)    Projects" in CE2111 Release (when old app will be deprecated). This check will allow to user change to all RA key available for CPM project. For cases where user will changing the RA key between different Assignment rule , there will be displayed only warning message with possible incompatibly.

Currently most affected is assignment rule COSTCCC (where are keys SPFCCM, SPTCCM) - because this rule has no non rev rec Key. For this case you should use old app monitor until CE2111, until new logic will be released.
