Symptom
The column headers are not getting translated in Story Report.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SuccessFactors (In this example user's locale is set to English)
- Navigate to Reporting
- Create a new Story
- Add fields to the query, then add them to a table widget and save the Story
- Navigate to language settings and change it to another language, for example Portuguese
- Run the same Story and notice that the column labels are not being translated, only the data within the output of the report
Resolution
This is currently an expected behavior of the system.
The language for column labels is set when query is created initially. These labels will stay in that language even if the user changes their language settings in SF (e.g., to Portuguese).
