Business partners are assigned to the worklist of collection specialists in app Process Collections Worklist even though they do not have an explicit assignment to a collection specialist in the business partner master data

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to app Process Collections Worklist
2. Business partners are assigned to the worklist of collection specialist
3. Go to app Maintain Business Partner
4. Enter the specific Business Partner
5. Click on Start
6. Select the Collections Management BP role
7. Click on the Collection Profile tab
8. Specialist not assigned to the business partner

The daily job that generates the worklist always distributes the worklist items evenly between the collection specialists during worklist generation to ensure an equal load for each specialist, for all those business partners that do not have an explicit assignment to a collection specialist. It’s a technical job SAP_FIN_UDM_GEN_WORKLIST that starts report UDM_GEN_WORKLIST in backend.

The job scheduling cannot be influenced because it is offered only as a technical job. If it is desired to have certain business partners handled by dedicated specialists, the specialist needs to be assigned to the business partner.
