3085628 - Error: 'Logon Error: DSN not found' when refreshing a report in Crystal Reports for Enterprise

Symptom

  • Logon Error: DSN not found.
  • Unable to refresh a report on one computer, but can refresh the same report on another computer.
  • When refreshing a report using an ODBC connection in Crystal Reports for Enterprise, it fails with the error: 

         "Logon Error: DSN not found"

    Or fails with the error:

         "Logon Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data Source name not found and no default driver specified."
