3085987 - How to post and reverse document in special period

When posting a document in special period (13-16) and afterwards reversing it, the posting period of the reversal and reversed document are different.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

In this example the document is posted in Period 13 with Posting Date 31.12.YYYY.

1. Post document via app "Post General Journal Entries" in Posting Period 13.
2. Reverse this document in app "Manage Journal Entries".
3. Select "Wrong Posting" as Reversal Reason, enter 31.12.YYYY as Posting Date and Period 13.
4. Check the posted document. The reversal document has Posting Period 12.

During the reversal leave the Posting Date empty and give Period 13. The Posting Period of the reversal document will be 13.
