3086354 - Moving candidate to hired status via Business Rule is not closing Job Requisition - Recruiting Management

When candidate is moved to hired status via a Business Rule the Job Requisition remains open

Job Req System status fields are not editable by rules, see Supported Field Types for Job Requisitions  

When moving a candidate to the hired status and the number of openings drops to 0 a pop-up appears asking the user if they want to close the requisition. This will not appear for rules and it needs to be confirmed or else the requisition will not close.

To move a candidate to a status it would need an application rules and application rules cannot edit requisition fields (they can read from them).

This has been confirmed as an expected behaviour by Product Management.
