3086401 - Files with Macros not Supported - Recruiting Management

When uploading files with macros(e.g. .docm, .dotm, .xml, .xlsm, .pptm and etc...) to any multiattachment or multiattachmentselection fields the system either does not allow or converts the file into a regular office file changing the extension as well.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. In any area of the Recruiting Management system, attempt to upload a file with Macro enabled extension;
2. Notice that upon upload, the system will either change the extension of the file, or will not allow you to upload the file.

The macro enabled files are not allowed to be used within Recruiting Management as they are not supported. 

This is a product limitation, that was created for a purpose, and is applicable regardless of the Active Content Detection and Blocking.

Recruiting Management does not accept and does not support Macro enabled files, since it could generate security concerns, in case for example a Candidate upload a malicious file. With that in mind, the Macro files are not supported in Recruiting Management, and cannot be added by neither Candidates nor Recruiters.
