Symptom
- Some actions in BI Launchpad (BILP) or Central Management Console (CMC) result in a "The connection was Reset" error
- You may also face HTTP 500 (Internal Server Errors) or HTTP 404s, or just pages that don't appear to load properly
- It affects many of the actions that appear on the CMC home page (Connections, Auditing, BI Admin Studio, License Keys, OLAP Connections, Promotion Management, Recycle Bin, Universes, Version Management)
- The error often appears in pop-up windows, such as when viewing Crystal Reports from CMC, or opening sub-windows inside user security
- The same workflow when executed directly from a web application server works successfully
- The majority of BILP or CMC is accessible
- Other errors that may be seen:
<IP ADDR/HOST> didn't send any data.
