3087876 - Product Group field is blank in App Display Line Items in General Ledger

Product Group field is blank in App Display Line Items in General Ledger.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Enter App 'Display Line Items in General Ledger'.
2. Add mandatory fields (company code, account number etc.).
3. Display the report.
4. Go to 'Settings' and select field 'Product Group' to display.
5. The field is blank.

The reason why Product Group (Material Group) field is blank in 'Display Line Items in General Ledger' App is because this field is not stored in the material document itself.

So, since the field is not in the material document, it is not sent over to the FI interface and it is not updated in the accounting document either.
