3088030 - Issue with Exchange rate type when copying Internal / Customer Project

When copying a project where the Project currency is different from Currency of the Service Org. company code, the initial planned cost rate of the newly copied project uses the exchange rate “M” (Standard translation at average rate) instead of “P” (Standard translation for cost planning).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open Plan Customer Project app (or) Plan Internal Project app.
2. Select a Project where Service Organization currency and Project Currency are different and it contains work package with plans (Teams / Additional Resources).
3. Copy and Save the project.
4. Planned Cost in the Work packages and Projects is calculated using exchange rate “M”.

Due to a technical error, Default exchange rate “M” is considered for calculation of the planned cost.

Recalculate each work package to refresh the planned cost based on the exchange rate “P”.
