3088208 - Error "Only a single period or an interval of periods can be open" in Manage Posting Periods app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The error "Only a single period or an interval of periods can be open" (Message no.: MANAGE_POSTINGPERIOD022) appears while opening or closing posting periods in app "Manage Posting Periods"

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1) Open app "Manage Posting Periods".

2) Choose the "Posting Period Variant" and "Fiscal Year Variant" entries.

3) Click "CO Periods Status" button.

4) Enter the "Company Code" and "Fiscal Year".

5) Choose the period which needs to be open/closed.

6) Click "Open".

Below error appears:

"&&: Only a single period or an interval of periods can be open"

Message no. MANAGE_POSTINGPERIOD022

There are currently open periods.

Either a single period or an interval of periods can be open.

For example, either period 2 or periods 2 - 6 can be open, but periods 2, 4 and 6 cannot be the only open periods.

Periods from previous fiscal years should be also checked.
