3088297 - Import Data Tool -Can't open the Excel Workbook - Zip bomb detected

When uploading the template with data into the Import Data Tool, the system errors out. The example error is:

• Error message = Can't open the Excel Workbook
• Caused by: java.io.IOException: Zip bomb detected! The file would exceed the max. ratio of compressed file size to the size of the expanded data. This may indicate that the file is used to inflate memory usage and thus could pose a security risk. You can adjust this limit via ZipSecureFile.setMinInflateRatio() if you need to work with files which exceed this limit.

The fields in the Excel file are formatted and need to be cleared.

As Excel is a 3rd party tool that is continuously changing, we cannot provide exact steps to resolve the issue.

In all cells except the headers, make sure to use the Clear tool to Clear Formats. Once complete, save the workbook and import again.
