3088349 - Invalid server certificate error after cloud connector upgrade to 2.13.2 or higher

Symptom

After cloud connector update to version 2.13.2, HTTPS connection to backend system failed.

Checking the cloud connector ljs trace, below error can be found.

Protocol processing error:

com.sap.core.connectivity.protocol.http.handlers.HttpProtocolException: Invalid server certificate

Caused by: com.sap.core.connectivity.spi.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Invalid server certificate

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Peer host 'aaa.com' does not match certificate DNS names [bbb.com]

or

Certificate for <XXXX> doesn't match any of the subject alternative names: [XXXXX, XXXX]
