Symptom
- No SAP Systems listed.
- In SAP Logon, it displays the list of SAP Systems.
- When creating a report based on an SAP Data Source, it does not show the list of SAP Systems in Crystal Reports.
- The list of SAP Systems is blank in Crystal Reports, when configuring the SAP Logon to read the list of SAP Systems in a central location using option CoreLandscapeFileOnServer

Reproducing the Issue
- Configure the SAP Logon to read the list of SAP Systems in a central location by setting the registry key: CoreLandscapeFileOnServer
- In Crystal Reports, create a new report.
- In the "Database Expert", under "Create New Connection", select an SAP data source like: "SAP BW MDX Query"
- The list of SAP Systems is blank.
Cause
- The list of SAP Systems is empty because Crystal Reports reads the SAP Systems information stored in the files:
- SAPUILandscape.xml; or
- saplogon.ini
Found in one of the following path:
- Path defined in the registry key: SAPLOGON_LSXML_FILE ( Crystal Reports 2016 with Support Pack 07 and higher )
- C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common\
- C:\Windows\
- Crystal Reports does not supporting reading the List of SAP Systems stored in the central location set by the registry key: CoreLandscapeFileOnServer
Resolution
- To show the list of SAP Systems in Crystal Reports, copy the SAP Logon file: SAPUILandscape.xml in one of the following path:
- C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common\
- C:\Windows\
- But if the SAP Logon was configured to read the file set using the registry key: SAPLOGON_LSXML_FILE:
- Ensure your file is located in the path defined in the registry key: SAPLOGON_LSXML_FILE
- Ensure you are using Crystal Reports 2016 with Support Pack 07 or higher.
