3088798 - 502 Bad Gateway error when you submitting large numbers of cells into a story in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

When you paste many cells into a table, after several minutes, the following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• Bad Gateway
• 502 Bad Gateway: Registered endpoint failed to handle the request.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

1. Open a story with a table.
2. Copy a large amount of values from an Excel file and paste into the table.

• The specific paste operation that you are trying to perform is very large and therefore takes a lot of time to be processed.
• Unfortunately such large operations may run into a timeout so the error occurs.

• Decrease the number of cells in the copy / paste procedure.
• Also try using the mass data entry feature, which is intended to change many data cells individually and then have them processed at once.
