What are the required permission for the Onboarding dashboard?

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Necessary permission:

• General User Permission > User Search
• Employee Data > First Name, Last Name, Status and Location
• Employee Central Effective Dated Entities > Job Information > Location and Job Classification
• Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permissions > ONB2Process and ONB2AggregatedDetails
• Manage User > Employee Export (Enable this permission only for the Administrator. Do not enable this permission for the Hiring Manager/Onboarding Participant.)
• Metadata Framework > Admin Access to MDF OData API (Enable this permission only for the Administrator. Do not enable this permission for the Hiring Manager/Onboarding Participant.)

Note: If Employee Export and Admin Access to MDF OData API permissions are requirements to be provided for affected users, these permissions can be granted only inside a Onboarding role. If they are granted outside it, they will override remaining permissions and issues as 'candidates not appearing on Onboarding Dashboard', 'candidate's full name not appearing"... can happen.

In order to view the Onboarding Dashboard tile on the home page, one of the below permissions must be enabled:

• To view the status of the compliance forms on the Dashboard, enable Show Compliance Forms Status on the Dashboard.
• To view the status of the new hire tasks on the Dashboard, enable Show Onboarding Tasks Status on the Dashboard.
• To view the data collection status on the Dashboard, enable Show Data Collection Status on the Dashboard.
• To view the status of Form I-9 and E-Verify on the Dashboard, enable Show Form I-9 and E-Verify Status on the Dashboard.

Additional notes:

• In order to Onboarding Dashboard be available, at least one candidate must be initiated.
• External User Target Population is required. For processes that use Internal hires, then Internal User Target Population is required
• Under Manage Home Page, Onboarding dashboard is added in both My Team and My Specialization.
• It will show in either of mentioned sections if above permissions are provided
