3089263 - New activity "Assign Production System" is added in CBC 2108

You found there is a new activity "Assign Production System"​ added in phase "Product Specific Configuration".

Central Business Configuration 2108 with S/4HANA Cloud 2111 content

Deployment Target for the production system is not assigned automatically for existing systems after Central Business Configuration 2108 upgrade.

If you are a new customer, you will find the Deployment Target with status Not Deployed as below and you need to Assign the deployment target for production system immediately after the P system is provisioned.

The steps are:

1. Go to the Assign Production System project activity and choose Open.
2. Go to the Action row of your chosen deployment target and choose Assign.
3. Go back to the Activities tab to set the Assign Production System project activity to completed.

If you are an existing customer, you need to choose the status and click Open button.

Then assignment will be updated accordingly.

As a result, deployment target will be shown as Deployed and Action won't show Assign option anymore.
