3089276 - Supported number range for address number in API API_BUSINESS_PARTNER

This documentation provided an explanation what is the purpose of the external number range for address number in general and which the address number ranges are supported in API API_BUSINESS_PARTNER. 

The standard settings delivered to customers as part of address number range are number ranges "01" and "10". Number range "10" is needed for some areas in SD. Customer can change the number range "01" if required, the address APIs always use the internal numbering. External numbering is not supported, as the APIs to fetch the new address number uses the number range '01' always. Only for SD related applications the address number is fetched from '10'. Other than these 2 number ranges address APIs do not support any other number ranges currently.
