3089923 - Error message: TDT activation status for Country/Region is different in production FOT_TDT120

In the Configuration Activity 101016 Define Tax code for Sales and Purchase, the below error message occurs:

"TDT activation status for Country/Region is different in production" 

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. App Manage Your Solution;
2. SSCUI 101016 - Define Tax code for sales and purchase;
3. Add Country / Tax code / Tax type;
4. Save;
5. Error message: TDT activation status for Country/Region is different in production.

The Test system is in a different status from the Productive system.

Access the App Display Tax Information per Country - S_ALR_87012365 in test system and in production system and compare if they are in the same status.

If the status in Q and P are different, please go to the App Manage Your Solution> Finance > Statutory Reporting > Configuration Activity 103140 > Maintain migration status for time dependent taxes, and adjust the status.

If customizing the Error message class to "Info" or "Warning" message, this only means that it is possible to maintain tax rate in Q system and it will not be stopped by that message anymore. However, this does not change the fact that transporting changes from Q to P will not be possible. It is clearly stated in that message and other TDT help documentation referred in KBA 2936931 - TDT SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, that TDT activation in both Q and P systems is needed, in order transport your changes from Q to P system.
