Symptom

How can we add values from EC to fields in compensation?

Resolution

Compensation forms contain data fields. To transfer information from Employee Central to the form, you must map fields between Compensation and Employee Central.

NOTE: Ensure that the fields used in Compensation also exist in Employee Central.


  1. Select the Compensation template;
  2. Select the Column;
  3. In the column editing page, search for EC Category.
  4. There, select an Employee Central Component;
  5. Then, from the EC Component Name dropdown, select a value.
  6. From the EC field dropdown, select an HRIS-field from where the system retrieves the information;
  7. Save your changes.

The EC Component Name field is valid only for the EC Categories Pay Component Recurring , Pay Component Non Recurring, Pay Component Group,Compensation, Spot Bonus and Job Relationships.

Once this is done, values from EC will be displayed in compensation forms:
