3090179 - Billing plan tab not visible when go to subitem details - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Symptom

Double click subitem in Sales Contract, billing plan tab does not show at all. But if choose the item line in advance and click Billing Plan button, the billing plan tab will show.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create new Sales Contract
  2. Input all necessary data including parent and sub item
  3. Double click the sub item to go to item details
  4. Noted the billing plan tab is not visible at all

Cause

Parent item item category does not have Billing Plan Type assigned though sub item category has the setting.

Resolution

Add the same Billing Plan Type to parent item category
