Symptom
- Fault Manager (FM) kills the primary ASE with a "kill -9" command when FM detects a network breakdown:

2021 06/06 18:35:41.717 (6506) killing the database server process failed (timeout). - Is it possible not to kill the primary ASE but go for a failover or make the standby ASE function as an active ASE?
- Can FM be configured to wait for some time before taking any actions?
- The following FM configuration parameters are set to default values:
ha/syb/hb_fm_timeout 3 sec
ha/syb/hb_hb_timeout 3 sec
ha/syb/hb_force_db_inactive 1
ha/syb/hb_stop_db 1
ha/syb/hb_shutdown_sys 0
and three FM configuration parameters are customized:
ha/syb/failover_if_insync = 1
ha/syb/waittime_if_unresponsive = 300
ha/syb/failover_if_unresponsive = 1
