Symptom
When creating a Job Requisition through a Position, the system throws an Application Error with the following fingerprint: 101024e482f09e505b51698efbe86ad78bf42160
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Cause
The error will occur on a scenario in which the Position Integration rule has a condition that should throw a message and the Key Label of the default Position Error message has been changed in Manage Languages.
Here's an example of the Position Integration rule that will launch a message:
And the default Position Error message:
ECT_HRIS_MDF_POSITION_REQ_CREATION_FAILED_RULE_NOT_EXECUTED
In this case, if the Java sentence at the end is changed, the issue will occur.
"Sorry, the job requisition could not be created. An error occurred while executing rule {0}.</br></br>Details: {1}"
Resolution
To fix the issue, you'll need to revert the change made on the above Key Label (ECT_HRIS_MDF_POSITION_REQ_CREATION_FAILED_RULE_NOT_EXECUTED) or make sure that the Java sentence at the end is not changed.
This is the default en_US label: "Sorry, the job requisition could not be created. An error occurred while executing rule {0}.</br></br>Details: {1}".
After that, the rule will trigger and generate the message as configured:
