Unable to Initiate Onboarding to Candidate due to error 'Unable to initiate onboarding process.[Error code 20: Error Message - Activity SIGNED; No updates accepted] 

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - All Versions

1. Proxy to user
2. Home drop down Recruiting
3. Pull up the Job Requisition Number
4. Go to Candidate affected of the issue
5. Click Take Action> Initiate Onboarding 
6. Error message pops up - Onboarding status

Candidate's employee profile has been inactive or their permission to Internal Career has been revoke.

If an internal candidate has inactive employee profile or no permission to Career site, the system assumes that the candidate has withdrawn the application. This is same as external candidate deleted their employee profile.

Possible ways to resolve the issue:

1. You can reactivate the employee profile then initiate onboarding.

2. If this is rehire, ask the candidate to apply as external candidate.
