3090694 - Cannot edit Help Text for newly created Movement Type.

Symptom

From the SSCUI 103898, copied movement to the new movement type Z01 / Z02. During the copy process it is not possible to update the 'Help Text'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

MANAGE YOUR SOLUTION / SSCUI 103898 Copy of Movement Type  

  1. Select the movement type you want to copy and choose More -> Edit -> Copy as.
  2. Overwrite the selected movement type with the new movement type (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z) and press the Copy button.
  3. Select copied movement type and go to the Short text node.
  4. Change the descriptions of copied movement type.
  5. Save your settings.

Cause

Within the configuration the option to change the 'Help Text' is currently not available. 

Resolution

It is only possible to change the Short Text and Movement Type Text for the newly created Movement Type.
