You are looking for more information on how to make the secure connections between Analysis for Office (AO) to its targets.

DISCLAIMER:

SAP does not recommend using insecure connections with AO (HTTP or RFC without SNC). The use of insecure connections is on the users own risk, but regardless of the AO client's connection status (secure or insecure), the internal network must be secure enough and adequately guarded by firewalls, etc.
