3090868 - Keep Formating Window Not Visible for Internal Notes

With the 2108 upgrade, the Internal Memo supports TinyMCE features. You noticed that when pasting a content from another editor (e.g Excel), there is no option to keep the text format in the Internal Memo notes. However, this is available for the e-mail editor screen, there a window asks the user if he would like to keep the text formatting.

Although both screens (Email and Internal Notes) use the TinyMCE features, both were designed to work differently.

This is because emails tend to be very heavy, and might require more features. However, in the case of Internal Memos, some of the features are not enabled for performance reasons. Internal Memos are intended for quick noting of information and are not meant as outward interactions. From development perspective, it was decided to focus on performance, keeping the Internal Notes section as light as possible for an enhanced user experience.
