3091486 - Error: Negative stock not permitted in logistic area ABC, material XYZ.

When creating an Adjustment Confirmation, the system reports an error "Negative stock not permitted in logistic area ABC, material XYZ."

*ABC represents the logistic area's ID, while XYZ represents the ID of the material.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Work centre Inbound Logistics.
2. Select the View Warehouse Orders.
3. Search for the respective Warehouse Order.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click on the Adjustment Confirmation button.
6. Select the line with the product XYZ.
7. Click on the Enable Entry button.
8. Maintain Quantity Difference for the respective quantity, for example: - (minus) 5 ea.
9. Click on Save. 

Result: The system shows the following errors

Inspection XXX is already cancelled so the identified stock or quantity cannot be changed. You should create new inspections.

(*XXX is the ID of the Inspection).

Save failed

Since this Warehouse Order is integrated with a Receiving Inspection, the system will look for stock with Inspection flag set.

However, there is no such stock available at the time of creating the Adjustment Confirmation.

You need to perform a Change of Stock in order to set the Inspection flag for 5 ea of the product in question in logistic area ABC.
